My name is Joshua, and I am glad you’re here.

I live a life based in Southern Maine, with my partner Casey and our four pets – two cats, a German Shepherd, and a husky.

This site is simply my way of bringing together some of my core passions – gardening, houseplants, woodworking, cooking, creating – and exploring how all of those things intersect.

This is a hobby. Unless otherwise noted, all posts, images, and designs are my own. Between working a full-time job, having a partner, caring for two dogs and two cats, and constantly trying to find a healthy work // life balance, Blood and Thorns will be a project I work on as my time and energy allow. It’s not a job.
